Cathy Gould-Harrison is an educator who has diverse experiences and various roles which have centered around teaching and educating. She is a certified elementary teacher/educator with over 3 decades of experience and she holds a California Teaching Credential, Bachelor of Arts Degree, ELD certification, and a Master’s Degree in Reading.

Her experience spans the following:

  • Founder and CEO of JIR Enterprises, Inc. Jump Into Reading Supplemental Education Services

JIR Enterprises Inc. Jump Into Reading has provided supplemental educational services to over 50 school districts and thousands of students in the state of California, founded in 2005. While teaching Reading has been her passion throughout her adult professional life, most recently, she has developed a Professional Development Hub where teachers, home school instructors, and tutors can enroll in to learn and finesse their ability to teach reading and other subject matter.

  • Single-Subject Teaching Credential in Science: Biological Sciences AND in Chemistry (CA)

Jennica Harrison is a classroom educator with experience teaching a wide-range of science classes at the high school level. With plans to continue on to a Physical Therapy graduate program, she earned her B.A. in Health, Exercise, and Sport Science from University of the Pacific. Upon receiving it, she realized that a career in Physical Therapy was not the life she wanted. Within a month she was enrolled in a California Teacher Intern Program, and within 6 months she was teaching biology to incoming 9th grade students. She is currently seeking a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Her experience spans the following:

  • Taught 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students
  • Taught Biology, Chemistry (with a medical focus), and Anatomy and Physiology
  • Led staff-wide trainings on the use of educational technology
  • Leader in implementation of science storyline curriculum aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards
  • Leader in technological support during distance learning brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Aspiring curator of education resources on TeachersPayTeachers
  • Teaches continuing education courses through Fresno Pacific University
