Earn units while you read the book “The First Days of School: How to Be an Effective Teacher (5th edition)” by Harry and Rosemary Wong and learn from other effective teachers like Michael Linsin (Smart Classroom Management) and Tyler Hester (Educators Thriving). The book is chunked into 4 courses, each worth 1 graduate-level semester unit of credit. This course series is meant for ANY educator in any grade Kindergarten through 12th grade. Many teachers hail this book as a “must read” for all teachers- new and veteran alike.

The resources provided by the other effective teachers as well as our Jump Into PD coursework transforms this series from a simple book study to a wholly comprehensive summer classroom reset. We want to help teachers address the worsening behavior problems many of us have been experiencing since COVID and the rise of smartphone and social media addiction in children.
