In this third course in the series, participants will explore chapters 6 and 7 of “Teach Like a Champion 3.0” by Doug Lemov. We will dive into the next two sets of immediately implementable techniques coined by the author involving pacing and building ratio through questioning that are used by teachers all over the country. These techniques involve concepts like making your transitions more exciting, hacking human psychology to create an exciting sense of urgency in your classroom, retrieval practice techniques like cold calling and call and response, and more. This book is a MUST read for new teachers!
